Jana and Computational Visualistics
From April 2001 to December 2007 I studied the academic degree programme "Computational Visualistics" at the Faculty of Computer Science (FIN) of the Otto-von-Guericke University Magdeburg and completed it as graduate engineer (with an overall grade of B (GP 3.1)).
What Computational Visualistics is (apart from being a computer science programme)? Wikipedia about CV
"The academic course means the handling of images, pictorial presentations and graphical symbols particularly considering the usage of computers. During the basic study period, knowledge transfer in the fundamentals of mathematics, computer science, humanities subjects such as philosophy, psychology, design, educational science as well as in an area of application (choices: medicine, materials science, manufacturing technology, information technology); in the main study period consolidation in the chosen area and in special subjects of Computational Visualistics."
